A snow trench is dig once per month (or every three months during winter) in the clean area near the Station (< 1 km). Four measurements are taken inserting a core barrel (with a diameter of 4.5 cm and a length of 25 cm) horizontally into the snow at 10 cm depth, and four more measurements are taken inserting another core barrel (with a diameter of 3.7 cm and a length of 9.2 cm) vertically, from the surface to 10 cm depth. The snow density is calculated from the weight.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\na_1_hor (1 Hor, kgm-3)\na_2_hor (2 Hor, kgm-3)\na_3_hor (3 Hor, kgm-3)\na_4_hor (4 Hor, kgm-3)\na_1_ver (1 Ver, kgm-3)\na_2_ver (2 Ver, kgm-3)\na_3_ver (3 Ver, kgm-3)\na_4_ver (4 Ver, kgm-3)\nstation_id (Id of the station in the TimeSeries)\nlatitude (latitude position of the station, degrees_north)\nlongitude (longitude position of the station, degrees_east)\n https://antarcticdatacenter.cnr.it/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01_fgdc.xml https://antarcticdatacenter.cnr.it/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01_iso19115.xml https://antarcticdatacenter.cnr.it/erddap/info/near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01/index.htmlTable https://www.pnra.aq/it/project/658/accurate-surface-measurements-different-parameters-interface-between-atmosphere-and (external link) https://antarcticdatacenter.cnr.it/erddap/rss/near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01.rss https://antarcticdatacenter.cnr.it/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01&showErrors=false&email= Ca' Foscari University of Venice - Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics near_surface_snow_density_at_concordia_station_antarctica_lqjn01
